Trapani Windmills of Sicily Motif Hand Painted Terra Cotta Antipasta Wall Platter

This is a stunning painted Terra Cotta platter from Trapani in Sicily, Italy. It shows the famous windmills of trapani. It is done in the traditional Italian style of ceramics. The platters is signed De Cotte e di Crude which means “Of Cooked and Raw” and the platter makes for serving antipasta — cold or hot. Made in Trapani, this has also been made with holes in the foot on the base so that it can be hung on the wall as decor when not used to serve food. Lovely Italian artistic ceramic.
