Vintage Design
Early version of alvar aalto’s tea trolley, now known as model 901.
This piece was produced during Finland’s period of scarcity “pula-aika”, during this period there was rationing of materials and this trolley was affected by this rationing with lack of rubber band in wheels.
Wheels are fully wooden, including the outer rim that touches the ground.
