Arabesco CM is one of Carlo Mollino’s most famous, imaginative and emblematic creations: a modern coffee table, crossed by surrealist echoes, an organic, irregular, oak object, which Zanotta re-proposes as a tribute to one of the most imaginative designers ever.
The Arabesco CM coffee table was one of the furnishings designed by Carlo Mollino for Casa Orengo, and Zanotta, today, proposes it with the utmost fidelity as part of the re-edition of the masterpieces of the eclectic Turin artist.
Arabesco CM coffee table is made up of an oak plywood structure, the shape of which recalls the articulation of a human body intent on supporting the main shelf, and brings to mind certain dreamlike and multipurpose forms created by Hans Jean Arp and Salvador Dalì.
Equally irregular, similar to bodies of water, are the shapes of the two glass shelves.
