Antique Swedish Post Office Cabinet

A unique mail cabinet from Sweden from the early 20th century. Originally, the cabinet was used at the post office as a place to sort letters. In later years, the furniture was used by a manufacturing company from southern Sweden (Skåne) to hold company documentation. On some shelves, descriptions of the purpose of the compartments have been preserved. Today, the cabinet is ideal for storing various types of collections such as: unique porcelain, engravings and books or other valuable collectibles. The cabinet has a very subdued and simple look. At the very top there is a decorative crown. Below there are double doors with a key lock. The lock works, 1 key included. Under the door there is one large drawer with one brass handle. The drawer does not have locks. The outside of the furniture is grey. The interior is in a natural wood color. The furniture is made of pine wood.
