Vintage Design
Beautifully rare safari chair made by the Swedish Artek, for which Alvar Aalto designed, among others. This model is known as the safari chair, and is coded 411. Ben af Schulten designed the chair for Artek in the 1970s. The chair has an organically designed frame of blond beech wood, which are connected in a subtle and traditional way. The seat and backrest are made of cognac-colored saddle leather that is in very good condition after proper maintenance. Despite the age of at least 50 years, the chair is in very nice condition after careful cleaning and maintenance and can be put into use immediately.
