Vintage Design
This E. Gomme sideboard from the English manufacturer G Plan was designed by Lesley Dandy in 1961.
Nicknamed “New Tola”, its design was influenced by the Scandinavian trend for long, low sideboards. This particular model was G-Plan’s longest sideboard (model number 4007).
Entirely veneered in cola wood (teak family), it has brass strips framing the middle cabinets, brass fittings and brass shoes on the legs.
It is composed on the left of 3 drawers with brass handles, the first drawer of which has gray felt and dividers.
In the center, two accordion doors open onto interior shelves adjustable on 2 levels.
The right part is made up of a drop-door cupboard with interior shelf.
