Green Cargo Pendant Light, 1930s

A large and imposing cargo light made in england by the general electric company – gec. C.1930

of a much larged size, with cast and debossed cast gallery and retaining the original green enamelled paint which has developed a very rustic patina over the years – presumably used in a cargo/port where it may have been subject to moisture in the air. Certainly a very unique statement light!

rewired with 1m of black round flex. This piece has an attribution mark,
