Early 19th Century Pyrenean Folk Art Oak and Chestnut Carved Cupboard

Early 19th century pyrenean folk art oak and chestnut cupboard circa 1800. Beautiful rustic cupboard from the pyrenees region of the french spanish border. Oak carcass with stunning carved chestnut doors and drawers. Slightly over-sailing top cornice with 3 areas of storage below, comprising of a double door cupboard with fixed shelf above a single drawer and a further double door cupboard below, also containing a fixed single shelf. Original key working the top cupboard and drawer. This piece of furniture would work superbly in multiple rooms around the home, such as the kitchen/dining room or hallway/entrance for storage. Replaced front floor level plinth, otherwise offered in original condition. Expected surface marks in line with age and use. Very heavy item.
