Dining Room Set from Fossati, Attilio & Arturo, 1950s, Set of 5

Absolutely stunning fully complete mahogany and onyx dining room interior in the style of Osvaldo Bersani consisting of eight dining chairs, a dining table, long sideboard / credenza, high mirrored cupboard / bar cabinet, and a huge mirror. The eight chairs are newly upholstered in the finest quality crème fabric with a subtle fish bone pattern and a light gloss because of the woven-through silk threads. The fabric matches the half gem-stone onyx top of the dining table and the credenza. All the wood used is mahogany in an nearly mint condition with a high gloss nearly mirroring lacquer. The case pieces and table are capped with beautiful copper sabots, the chairs have this copper finishing detail in the frame too. There were some variations in this furniture line available at the time, this suite is the top end range, with the beautifully multicolored veined onyx table tops. The pieces originate from a southern Italian property and were according to the former owner used only once a year for Christmas.
