Vintage Design
This highly versatile and functional “Royal System” was originally designed by Poul Cadovius in 1948. This useful two-bay teak shelving system offers a variety of storage and display options, which can be configured to your choice. The set includes a very attractive basketweave drop front lockable cabinet, divided inside and including four removable metal wire partitions. There is a small bank of two drawers, a cabinet with two opening doors and a single adjustable wooden shelf, alongside four shelves.
The cabinets are simply hung from pins, whilst the shelves are hung from metal hangers that attach through the holes that run the full length of the three uprights. This modular arrangement comprises of 10 pieces (including the uprights) and will need an 5.5ft wall to display as seen in the images.
The setup is in very nice period condition, showing little wear, and has obviously been very well looked after so far. The set is still wearing its original finish and has recently been gently oiled and is ready to hang.
