Vintage Design
The “Le Bambole-Bamboletto” daybed was designed by Italian architect and designer Mario Bellini. This iconic piece was produced by B&B Italia in the 1970s.
The sharp geometry of the stitching and cushioning defines the piece, which was originally covered with a material that was the precursor to memory foam.
The Le Bambole daybed was awarded the prestigious Compasso d’Oro in 1979.
