We are delighted to offer for sale this exquisite pair of Victorian mahogany small footstools with Lion’s hairy paw feet What a find, this are stunning, they were originally designed to sit with wingback armchairs, the small size meant you could slide them in the gap between the legs of the wingbacks. Both stools have an embroidered almost kilim like upholstery, the frames are all mahogany with as mentioned finely carved lion’s hairy paw feet week date back by design to the mid 18th century Condition wise is perfect for the period, there are gallery ready. We have lightly cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, they will have honest patination to the timber Dimensions Height:- 19cm Width:- 33cm Depth:- 29cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
