Vintage Design
Charming Buffet Louis XV in solid Cherry wood, with Wood Top finely Molded in its Perimeter and with Cut Front Angles.
It offers three drawers with discreetly molded fronts, with an identical depth of 7.5 cm. The central one, narrower than the adjoining ones, locks. The right and left drawers have Iron drawer handles.
Underneath, this cabinet opens through two doors. Each of them has a central panel with Flat Strips, and a Chantourné frame in the upper part.
Each Leaf is fixed on a long Card, and is furnished with a Cut-out Lock Entrance. The one on the left is dummy while the one on the right is in working order.
These two Openings are separated by a Central Pilaster, with Vertical Grooves, and adjoining the left one.
The interior of this Storage Furniture is composed of a Solid Shelf, 36.5 cm deep. This one is Mobile and placed on Fixed Brackets.
The furniture is supplied with its two Keys. Its Upholstery is Original.
The Front Uprights are cut to size. Subtle motifs of Heart and Sun are engraved in their lengths.
The lower Crosspiece is Moved and Sculpted with a Scallop Shell, Flowers and Wheat Spurs. Note that the engravings described in the Uprights are reproduced in the Lower part of this Furniture.
The Sides are Panneautés.
The set rests on two ”Biches” feet at the front, two straight feet at the back.
It should be noted that the Tray fits two planks and that its left side needed a repair, carefully done, hence the addition of a piece of wood at this location.
The inside of the drawers as well as the back of this property are made of Original Poplar.
The Elegance and Fineness of this Period Sideboard will enhance the value of the piece to which it will be added.
