19th Century French Empire Egyptian Sphinx Sofa & Armchairs in Ormolu & Hardwood, Set of 3

A very decorative collectable suite of mahogany with ornate Sphinx & Griffon ormolu mounted French Empire Egyptian revival salon seating A very good looking and decorative suite. These are period mid 19th century examples with all the original mounts, they are exceptionally well made and look expensive and important in any setting. We have cleaned waxed and polished the mahogany, the ormolu is nicely aged and has a rich patina, they really are wonderfully decorative pieces There is one old repair that I can see one to the back leg of the settee, there is also one small loss to the ormolu on the bottom of the backrest of one of the armchairs, otherwise it all looks to be present. dimensions Height 100.5cm Width 68cm Depth 66cm Seat height 46cm Sofa dimensions Height 106.5cm Width 146.5cm Depth 70.5cm Seat depth 46cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
