We love these Southern / Blue Ridge Potteries plates — such a day brightner for any table. Creamy white field with chartreuse and cocoa brown blossoms with strappy emerald green leaves. Marked Blue Ridge potteries / Southern Potteries; “Evening Flower” pattern dates the pieces to between 1930 & 1957.

If you are not familiar with these unqiue flowers, you ought to be! Blooms open at dusk and only last a day. We have fond family memories of taking our young sons out in the evening to watch the large, trumpet blossoms unfurl before our eyes.

Excellent vintage condition, no chips, no crazing, no cracks; minor painting flaws consistent with artisan created treasures.
