Vintage Design
An iconic and rare vintage model 401 armchair by Alvar Aalto. This was made in Finland by Artek, it dates from around the 1970’s.
It is of exceptional quality and is extremely comfortable. The seating area is very supportive and this rocks nicely on the bentwood cantilever frame.
It is in excellent condition, we have had the frame stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, it has been fully re-upholstered in a cream boucle fabric.
