Mid 20th-Century Stylishly Functional Bamboo & Rattan 3-Tier Catchall Basket/Cubby Stand

Vintage style meets maximum functionality in this fabulous three-tier boho chic bamboo and rattan catchall basket/cubby stand! The eye-catching design adds visual and textural interest with the juxtaposing natural color variations of the bamboo and rattan. With its stylish look-and-feel, it’s a terrific catchall storage piece for use in a child’s room (think toys), sewing/craft room (thread, yarn and such), guest room or reading nook (books/magazines). Thoughtful construction went into its making by an unknown artisan. It is structurally solid; frame is handcrafted from both bent bamboo poles and solid wood. Interior sides are wood which have been clad in woven rattan on the exteriors. The bottom “basket/cubby” has a wooden bottom. The top and middle “baskets/cubbies” are handwoven curved rattan wefts using an over and under weave over rattan warps with braided rattan trim on the fronts. The base and feet are crafted from bent bamboo wrapped in rattan twine, as is the double pole bent bamboo handle Colors are a medley of naturally aged earthy hues of tan, cocoa, espresso, honey amber, beige and more. It’s gorgeous piece that is in excellent condition with minimal age-appropriate wear. It measures as follows:

Baskets/Cubbies: all three measure the same – 12” wide; 7” deep at the top; 5½” deep at the bottom; 6” clearance between each one
