Vintage Design
This original safari chair was made in the 1960s and therefore the saddle leather has a beautiful patina, a very sturdy model with an oak frame.
Simply a topper among the chairs. The chair is made by Fredericia and it is Model 2226.
with the Spanish chair, Mogensen expanded his work with solid oak and saddle leather. The chair was launched in 1958 as part of an innovative living space exhibition, where all tables were removed from the floor to create an open living space.
THE MAKER Mogensen was a trained cabinetmaker and furniture designer at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts before attending the school of furniture design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where he was taught by Kaare Klint and graduated in 1941.
